CLAUDIA KURETSIDIS-HAIDER (MA., PhD)

Claudia Kuretsidis-Haider, born 1965, studied history and geography. She got her PhD 2003 at the University of Vienna (doctoral thesis about the punishment of crimes against Hungarian-Jewish forced labourers before Austrian courts 1945-1954).
Topics of research: post-war-judiciary in Austria and Europe, politics of memory, resistance and persecution during Nazi rule in Austria.

 

WINFRIED R. GARSCHA (PhD.)

Winfried R. Garscha, born 1952, co-director of the Austrian Research Centre for Post-war Trials, studied history and linguistics. He got his PhD 1983 at the University of Vienna (doctoral thesis about the preparation of the annexation of Austria in 1938 by civil society organizations during the 1920s and 1930s in Germany and Austria).
Topics of research: post-war-judiciary in Austria and Europe, contemporary Austrian history, labour history.
